Job Description: Full time, permanent Senior Clinical Nursing Position Clarendon Clinic - East Melbourne location About the Role Centrally located and close to multiple public transport routes. You will provide a high standard of clinical assessment, treatment and support to clients of the St. Vincent’s integrated adult MHS and their carers, demonstrating excellence in discipline specific and recovery-focused case management skills. You will join a dynamic community mental health team operating under a recovery-oriented model of care, utilising the Strengths Model of Case Management. Work within the Strengths Model of recovery orientated practice providing supervision and leadership to staff Work one to one and build a therapeutic alliance with the consumer and family/carers actively engaging them in the planning, delivery and evaluation of their care Undertake the assessment, provision of treatment and delivery of targeted interventions to consumers with complex mental health related needs and their family/carers Classifications for this positions will range from Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4 NP75 - NP77 ($112,465 - $121,113 per annum pro rata) Your Contribution Current registration with AHPRA A minimum of 5 years post qualification clinical experience for Nursing Extensive experience in the provision of assessment, discipline specific intervention and case management services for consumers experiencing early psychosis, as well as providing appropriate support for their carers and families within a recovery framework Experience in providing clinical supervision to other mental health staff A comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2022 (including amendments) and other relevant legislation Current Victorian driver’s license A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain What We Offer A focus on wellbeing initiatives, with regular events and programs Confidential, solutions-focused employee counselling A healthy work/life balance encouraged.
